Where to next?
I reflect back at our old update and I can tell you that the newly planted rosemary hedge is now taller than me!
Our strawberry guava trees are growing well and providing a good amount of fruit.
Our collaboration with local vineyards, has produced two superb Grape Wine Conserves, Pinot and Merlot with perhaps the Pinot slightly ahead on uptake.
Providing scones for our grape growers with local cream from Alexandra cheese is a must with the Grape Wine Conserves we produce, Merlot and Pinot.
And now we are using glass jars, a move towards more sustainable packaging. Our new product, Olive Tapenade, a favourite of mine, produced with local olives and our very own capers is our 3rd savoury jar product, making it 3 sweet and 3 savoury. I find this product so versatile, swirl through fresh pasta, add with cheeses to crusty bread, dab on pizzas, pair with fresh garden veg.
Our new dukkah, exhibiting the native flavours of pepper leaf, blood lime, lemon myrtle and wattle seed is seriously superb, the flavours just work so well together and give an extra zing to crusty bread and olive oil, or squid crumb… or ……
I don’t need to tell you the triple choc almonds are going out the door at a crazy rate, followed closely by our new chocolate bars with dried citrus.
And next, we await our new slim line packaging, lighter, smaller and visually exciting ……….
